A CIVIC reception has been held for members of Dungiven Regeneration Club who are helping to create a brighter future in the area.
Volunteers and the local community have made new floral displays and added colour to many buildings – helping the town to win the ‘most improved’ title at this year’s Ulster in Bloom competition.
The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council Councillor Brenda Chivers said: “The club has made a real difference in Dungiven and I want to offer my congratulations to everyone involved.
“It was established in 2015 to inspire the local community through arts, crafts and creativity and the group’s good work is clearly evident throughout the town.
“The Ulster in Bloom title is a deserved reward for their efforts and I hope this success will encourage more projects in the future.”
