Every day ex-service personnel who suffer from the demands and pressures of having served their country come to the RBL for expert advice and practical support.

From recovery to finances and camaraderie, your poppy will help the RBL to support the Armed Forces community whenever they need us.

The Royal British Legion is here to help members of the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, veterans and their families. We’ve been here since 1921, and we’ll be here as long as they need us.

The Royal British Legion continues it's Poppy Appeal in Limavady with a Poppy Shop on Main Street (beside the Alexander Arms) which is open from 10am each day and a stall in Tesco which will be open from Friday 1st November until Saturday 9th November.

Anyone who has ordered a wreath for Remembrance Sunday is asked to collect it ahead of time from the Poppy Shop.

A Quiz will be held in the United Services Club on Monday 4th November at 8.00 p.m. Come along and enjoy the craic and support the Poppy Appeal at the same time.

The Service of Remembrance will take place at the War Memorial on Remembrance Sunday from 10.30am led by Canon Aonghus Mayes and Monsignor Bryan Mc Canny.

On Armistice Day, Monday 11th November, a short service will be held to observe the national two minutes silence at 11am. Everyone is welcome to participate.
