Northern Constitution in shops now!

Good morning to our readers across the Roe Valley and beyond!
We are back with another great local paper, filled with the latest news, entertainment, sports and more.
The leading story this week is about two Limavady High teachers who will be braving the waves; swimming from Portstewart to Portrush fundraising money for the Matt Hampson Foundation.
This foundation has been nothing short of a life-saver for former pupil Brooke Canning, who became paralysed from the chest down after an accident. Full story on page 2.
Police are appealing for information after two people were struck by a trap being pulled by a horse.
Inspector Jack said: "A 66-year-old man who was arrested in connection with the investigation has since been released on bail to allow for further enquiries."
He is appealing for anyone who has mobile or dash-cam footage to contact Police on 101, quoting reference number 509 21/09/25.
Inside, Council completes work on their first fully carbon net-zero building work; Foyle Hospice quiz night comes to Limavady; Justice Minister blasts claims over prison dog's welfare; and Limavady Museum celebrates the launch of new exhibition: The Daintifyt Years.
We have the latest Council news on page 6, with courts on page 10.
There are also plenty of pictures from events in the area, with a fundraiser tractor and car run for Callum Stone, and two pages from the Dungiven Church of Ireland annual vintage rally and community fun day!
If sport is more your thing, we have plenty of reports and pictures from sports across the borough - from golf to football, GAA to athletics.
If you are a sports team in the local area who would like their reports included in the paper, contact editor@northernconstitution.co.uk
