New year, new sport!

NEW Year new sport! Try new Olympic Squash at Coleraine Leisure Centre as it continues to build momentum at the Railway Road facility towards a knockout fun day for players to enjoy on Saturday 17 January from 10.30am.

Similar to last years event the format will be knock out initially following a random draw and then two divisions or box leagues will play round robin to total their scoring performance.

Division one will naturally be more competitive however division two will pitch new and improving players together for fun & development.

Children from year 8 upwards will be encouraged to play in shorter match formats and with mitigations.

Players and parents of participants are asked to contact the squash group at ColeraineSquash@gmail.com to register their interest.

Squash will feature at the 2028 LA Olympic Games for the first time ever and it is with this in mind that awareness campaigns like this will feature more and more such is the anticipated growth such publicity will generate globally.
